What you say about us
An excellent table. A lovely surprise — we often eat at restaurants in the area but had never tried Maison Stéphan. We chose the 6-course menu, with refined, elaborate amuse-bouches, perfectly seasoned meats and refreshing, rarely paired flavoursthat were most welcome in this heatwave — the trout and watermelon ceviche was particularly incredible. We'll happily be back.
Everything was perfect, we could stop there. From the manager's welcome and impeccable service to the generous, excellent dishes, we had the pleasure of sipping a white wine while reading the menu and an excellent Côte-Rôtie down to the last bite of the main course. The chef speaks passionately about his cooking, and you can taste it on the plate. Now I understand the 5/5 rating — thank you for everything, it was excellent.
A 10/10 — the welcome could not have been warmer, the dishes were delicious and the atmosphere lovely! Everything is done to make guests feel at home; nothing is left to chance. The team puts all its energy into offering the best possible food-and-wine pairing. Very good value for money. A great experience, full of finesse — we'll be back.
A new restaurant run by people passionate about cooking and terroir produce, beautifully showcased by the chef and his team — the result: flavourful, inventive cuisine! The whole team was smiling and attentive. And the dining room is delightful — bright and warm, with a view over the vines. We'll be back with great pleasure!
A delight! Homemade, inventive, curious cooking. If you want to be surprised, I recommend the “Menu Blanc”. And if you're more conventional, the sharing plates are exquisite.
A lovely discovery! Therestaurant's décor is understated and very tastefully done, creating a warm, pleasant atmosphere.
The staff look after you from the start of the meal to theend. We went at lunchtime and chose the starter-main-dessert menu: excellentvalue for money.

You'll find your answers here
Whereis Les Gagères, and what are its opening hours?
Les Gagères is located at 1 Ancienne Route de Semons, 69420 Tupin-et-Semons, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyards, between Ampuis and Condrieu. We are open Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 1:45 pm and from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.
How do I book a table at Les Gagères?
Book your table online via our booking module or by phone on +33 7 86 80 26 53. For any special request, write to us at contact@lesgageres.fr.
What kind of cuisine does Les Gagères serve?
Bistronomic terroircuisine, built on local, seasonal produce, much of it organically farmed. Our commitment to sustainable cooking has been recognised with the Écotable label (3 macarons) and an Assiette in the La Liste guide.
What menus are served at lunch and dinner?
At lunch, our Lunch Menu celebrates the terroir with generous plates and minimally processed produce. In the evening, our four- or six-course Tasting Menu revisits traditions as the seasons turn. The menus evolve with what our producers have at their best.
Can we drink Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu wines at the restaurant?
Yes — our wine list gives pride of place to terroir wines, working directly with the region's winegrowers — including Maison Stéphan in Tupin-et-Semons — as well as with our local partner producers: farms, market gardeners and artisans of the Rhône valley.
Can Les Gagères host a seminar or private event?
Yes — our private-hire space hosts business meetings, seminars and private events in an authentic setting amid the vines. Contact us on +33 7 86 80 26 53. Giftcards are also available online, so you can give the Les Gagères experience.
